Conditions of Acceptance for Boarding

1. VACCINATIONS

All Cats must be fully vaccinated against feline viral rhinotracheitis, feline calicivirus disease, feline leukaemia and feline panleucopenia.

All Dogs must be fully inoculated against distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, leptospirosis, parainfluenza and have an up to date Kennel Cough vaccine.

CERTIFICATE OF VACCINATION MUST BE PRODUCED FOR INSPECTION PRIOR TO BOARDING ON EVERY OCCASION.

All boosters should be done yearly.

Failure to produce a current certificate may mean your pet will not be admitted for boarding. Charges will still be incurred by the client for the boarding fees.

Your pet must be in good health.

2. VETERINARY TREATMENT

If your pet develops any illness or condition after arrival, the proprietor of the Chaiquinta Pet Hotel can not be held responsible.

We reserve the right to call a veterinary surgeon if we feel it’s necessary.

We do not accept any responsibility for air borne viruses including kennel cough or gastro intestinal issues.

Please ensure your vet knows your pet is staying with us in case we need to talk to them.

Vet fees will be paid by the owner.

3. PRE-EXISTING ILLNESS

The proprietor must be advised of any pre-existing illness or conditions on arrival.

If medication is required we do not accept any responsibility for administration of medication.

All care is at the owners own risk.

The booking will be cancelled until a vet has given the animal a clean bill of health.

Charges may still be incurred by the client for the boarding fees.

Please inform us of any concerns you may have with your pet’s health.

4. OWNERS RISK

Whilst all reasonable care and attention is given to each pet, all animals are left entirely at the owner’s risk. We do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to items left with pets.

5. CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT

By booking your pet in with us you have entered and agreed to all the terms and conditions.

6. FEES

All fees are on a per day basis including the drop off day and the day of collection. All Fees are to be paid in full before pets can be collected.

7. METHOD OF PAYMENT

On Arrival – Cash or Cheque, On Departure – Cash only. We do not accept Scottish or Irish notes or any other payment other than Bank of England notes.

8. CANCELLATIONS

We require a 4 week cancellation for all booking, part or all fees may be charged for cancellation or failure to show on reservation less than 4 weeks. All Deposits are non refundable.

9. EARLY OR LATE COLLECTIONS

Please Note:-
No reduction of fees will be granted for early collection of your pet.

The accommodation booked will be reserved for boarding for the full duration of the stay. Late collection – Fees will be incurred until the departure date.

10. FAILURE TO COLLECT PET AFTER BOARDING

If you fail to collect your pet after 14 days of the due date of departure the proprietors of Chaiquinta Pet Hotel have the authority to re-home or dispose of the animal without further reference to the owner, provided the owner had not made arrangement in writing to extend the stay. All costs will be incurred by the pet owner.

11. REFUSAL OF BOOKINGS

The management reserve the right to refuse/revoke any booking of any animal at any time without notice or giving reason.

12. DATA PROTECTION

By boarding your pet with us, you are giving permission for images to be used on our social media or promotions and your information can be retained for further booking reference and company promotions.

Chaiquinta Pet Hotel provides everything yout pets will need during their stay (unless on a diet not stocked). However if you would like to bring a favourite treat, bed or toy you’re more than welcome to do so, items are left at owners risk.
